Things are poppin!

A new month...nearing the end of summer, and lots going on! First- thanks to all of you who participated in our third clothing exchange last week.  We didn't let a mini hurricane stop us from having a good time. It seems everyone went home happy and the Yorba Linda Goodwill benefited from what was left over. I scored a great white cotton shirt, a Tse cashmere sweater and a colorful summer dress.  Thanks, Linda, for volunteering to drop off our leftovers. If you're interested in participating in what will probably be a semi-annual event, email me at lmsandstedt (at) gmail.com so I can add you to the distribution list.

Next...I'm excited to announce that I'm participating in a pop-up shop with XCVI fashion and my awesome friends at Clever Vintage. The shop opens this weekend at The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks and will be up until October 2nd. You'll find a fun combination of modern, comfy clothes alongside work from local artisans. I will be showing my new collection of Wanderlust handbags and vintage-inspired jewelry.

And, don't forget that this Thursday, September 6th is Fashion's Night Out in downtown Riverside. I was invited by Terry Elliott of The Parrott  to design a one-of-a-kind jacket that will be included in the runway show.   The event will also include special events with downtown businesses along Main Street and University Avenue. It's also Art Walk, so you'll have an opportunity to visit artist's studios.
