Missoni for Target

... a great big bullseye!!   I love color and pattern- it's a huge part of my life. So when I read about their line for Target several months ago I got pretty excited.  I added the drop date to my calendar and set two alerts so I wouldn't forget. I showed up at the Redlands store at 8:05 am yesterday and had a chance to see the whole collection.  There were only a handful of serious shoppers in the store until about 9:30.  And then things really started disappearing off the shelves.  I purchased several garments (great for travel),  socks and tights, a pair of flats, bath towels, outdoor barware, and other gifts that I will not disclose here.  :)  I couldn't be happier with the quality and am so glad I got my share.

  2. I went I shopped.... I somewhat conquered. Got the vertical zigzag dress, and a bunch (!) of other items. Missed some of the things I wanted tho.... like some of the housewares. And I also found out that the XL little girl clothing fits me. Woot!

  6. Karol Ann- No Targets near you? I'm so sorry. :( Well then I think I scored for both of us!!

Dee- it was a true "moment" for me. Not everyone can relate but it was one of those really high points for me. I'm all for great design for the masses. Especially when it's this good.

  7. Trina E- Missed your earlier comment. So glad to hear about your somewhat conquer! I visited the children's department also. Ended up with a pair of socks there. I agree about the housewares...hit and miss. The one blanket I thought I would love ... I did not love. Didn't care for the melamine plates or the glass serving pieces. For me, it was the knits.
