To market, to market

I was going to transition into jewelry after the trunk show but I've been finding so many wonderful vintage textiles that I decided to stick with the market bags for a while. I'm really enjoying them. Here are the latest:

  2. Hi Deborah- The handle in the top picture I made from salvaged leather. Other times, I "cannibalize" handbags from the thrift store if the leather and hardware are good. I have a vintage Bernina from the early 60s.

  3. Yay Bernina--they will sew anything. I recently was given several vintage tablecloths in various states of disrepair. With those, some feedsacks, some other vintage fabric, and the leather handles I have on hand, I bet I could cobble together a few of these. Yours are sensational. Thanks for the inspiration.
