I'm making pretty dresses again. I abandoned the activity in the fall while preparing for two shows. I knew customers wanted to see sweaters, skirts and scarves so I put the vintage silk chiffon and piles of vintage laces and trims aside. But the Victorian silk and soft cottons beckoned and, once again, I'm focusing on romantic alternatives to traditional wedding gowns and party dresses. I can't help myself.
